Maintenance technician by day, personal systems and software developer by night. When I'm not fixing mechanical issues, I spend my time building applications, managing a small homelab cluster, and exploring whatever problem happens to be in front of me.
My design philosophy is, I'd rather take the time to build a program that does exactly what I need rather than taking the short cut of adapting a heavier tool.
Outside of code I'm interested in fitness, travel, and playing out in the garage. This site is where I document projects, collect thoughts, and occasionally write about things I've figured out.
